SAVING TIME AND MONEY FOR LIVINGSTONE BUILDING
Livingstone Building was an existing uniform customer of NZ Safety Blackwoods, purchasing uniform items from their local Te Rapa Trade Centre. However, Livingstone was then sending them on to a third-party local embellisher, who would deliver the embellished items in bulk to Livingstone, for them to distribute to staff across multiple locations.
An opportunity was identified to save Livingstone both time and money by consolidating and simplifying their process with a 6-monthly seasonal (summer and winter) bulk rollout allocation to staff, delivered directly.
Choosing from a variety of garment options, Livingstone selected a cost-effective range to suit their requirements; and customised purchasing codes were created for each of the garments that needed to be custom embellished.
The initial feedback from Livingstone has been positive, with Health and Safety Administrator Jo Durand saying that the bulk rollout went well, and all staff were very happy with the quality of the garments.
