Introduction to n3 Employee Benefits

Who is n3? With a membership base of over 12,000 New Zealand businesses, n3 combine our Members’ individual purchasing requirements to form a single large buying group. This enables n3 to negotiate great savings and impressive contract terms with New Zealand’s leading suppliers on behalf of its Members. Our members can save on just about everything they need to run their business. What is n3 Employee Benefits? Your staff can receive discounts for personal purchases with some of our favourite suppliers. From insurance to DIY, travel to tyres - your staff can personally benefit from better prices. Is there any risk to me or my organisation? No, there is no risk to your organisation. Will my organisation know what I buy? No, you must pay for all goods at the time of purchase, so there will be no credit link to your organisation.   

 


Getting Started with the n3 Employee Benefits Card

What is an Employee Benefits Card? The Employee Benefits Card helps suppliers identify your eligibility for Employee Benefits discounts in their stores. It's designed to fit inside your wallet and be used again and again. Where can I use the Card? Refer to your Card for the list of participating suppliers and their offers, or visit the registration page. How do I get a Card? Card are issued by the HR Manager or an n3 Internal Contact in your organisation. NB: Managers - If you need to order more Employee Benefits Cards, please contact your Account Manager.

 


Downloading On-Demand Discount Vouchers

How do I download the On-Demand Vouchers? Visit Employee Benefits On-Demand to download the vouchers. Follow the instructions on the screen. Is there a limit on how many I can download? No. You can download and use as many On-demand Vouchers as you like, as often as you like. How do I redeem the On-demand Vouchers? Simply present in-store when purchasing your goods to redeem the offer.

 


n3 Employee Benefits Limited Time Special Offers

How do I register for Special Offers? You can opt in to receive our limited time special promotions during the registration of your Employee Benefits Card. You will be emailed n3 Employee Benefits Special Offers - which are only available for a limited time, and are additional to the deals available through the n3 Employee Benefits Booklet and On-Demand Vouchers. How do I redeem the Employee Benefits Special Offers? Simply print off the Special Offers flyer emailed to you, and present in-store when you purchase your goods. What kind of offers should I expect to see? Every so often, we receive special offers from our current Employee Benefits suppliers as well as other n3 suppliers.

 


Administration & Other Issues

What restrictions are there to use the n3 Employee Benefits program?

You need to pay for the goods in full at the checkout in order to receive the n3 Employee Benefits discount or special deal. Cash, EFTPOS and credit cards are accepted. n3 Employee Benefits Suppliers don't allow on-account purchases.

The n3 Card and On-Demand Vouchers remain the property of your company and must be returned to your employer when you leave.

They are also not transferable to other people outside your employment, including friends and family

Will I be asked for ID? Suppliers may require proof of employment with your organisation such as a business card or letterhead when you present your Employee Benefits Card, Discount Vouchers or Special Offer flyers in-store. Can I use the card for business purchases? Employee Benefits is only available for personal purchases by employees and volunteers. n3 member organisations receive better trading terms by purchasing on-account or through the n3 Trade Card. What happens if a staff member leaves and takes their Card or Discount Vouchers with them? Eligibility to use the n3 Employee Benefits program expires when an employee leaves. Once n3 is notified, we can deactivate access to the program for former employees so they cannot continue to use the n3 Card or On-demand vouchers. If they do use them in the meantime, this is still ok, as there is no cost to your organisation or ability to use On-Account facilities. What happens if an n3 Card or on-demand voucher is stolen? Please inform n3 in order to remove unauthorised access.
